At the Law Office of Vimala D. Nowlis, I provide a high level of personal attention and service to my clients, men and women, throughout Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley who need legal counsel in family law matters. I left a law firm to start my solo practice in 2002 so I can give my clients my undivided attention. Before practicing law, I worked as a top manager for several California child support services programs, where I worked closely with the legislations and effectively with government and private attorneys. In my practice, I handle every case from beginning to end, so I know every detail of each case. This not only minimize time and expense, but also avoid miscommunication. Besides J.D. with Distinction, I also have an MBA as a Salutatorian. This gives me the ability to handle complicated cases and complex financial disputes. And I also have a B.A. in Communications and went through several mediation and negotiation programs which enables me to get the best deal for my clients in settlement negotiations.
I handle the full range of family law matters, including divorce, child custody and visitation, child support and spousal support, and property settlements. I also advise individuals who are planning to get married, helping them protect their interests with a prenuptial agreement.
